• The Edimax AR-7084A gives you additional functionality to set up and run a secure home network.  It provides the ability to set up multiple servers in the home to run and protect web access, email etc, safeguarding users’ hardware as well as giving you parental control.

  The AR-7084A gives you much flexibility to regulate the use of the Internet within your home or office network such as restricting web access as well as block some web addresses within the home.

  Built-in High Performance ADSL2/2+ Modem

  The AR-7084A runs at speeds up to 24Mbps downstream and 1Mbps upstream providing higher data rates than traditional ADSL systems. It is also backward compatible with existing ADSL services.

  lP Sharing

  The AR-7084A automatically assigns IP addresses to connected PCs. The NAT/NAPT function enables you to share the ADSL line to all networked users (up to 253 users).

  Firewall security

  The Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall protects your connected PCs from illegal access and several kinds of Denial of Service (DoS) attacks from the internet and can even alert you by email if an intrusion is detected.

  Virtual Server / DMZ

  The AR-7084A supports 8 Public IP address mapping allowing you to set up multiple servers (web servers, mail servers etc).  The AR-7084A also provides virtual server and DMZ functions to let internal servers be accessed by remote users via the Internet.

  DHCP

  The AR-7084A provides a DHCP server function to assign IP address automatically to networked PCs.

  Supports special applications

  As a router, the AR-7084A enables you to setup trigger points within applications and utilise Internet services smoothly.

  Web Configuration

  The router can be configured easily through the Web browser.
