• *You need an Ethernet (RJ45) cable modem or an Ethernet (RJ45) ADSL modem. BR-6204Wg cannot connect with a USB ADSL modem.

  The Edimax BR-6214K gives you additional functionality to setup and run a secure home office or small business network. The BR-6214K runs a secure firewall to stop intruders accessing your network.  With URL (keywords) filtering functions, the BR-6214K allows you to control access to certain sites. With Edimax’s intuitive set-up tools, securing your network and setting controls has never been easier.

  The BR-6214K has four 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports allows you to connect up to four wired PCs to your network or daisy chain for even more users or devices.

  IP Sharing
  The BR-6214K automatically assigns IP addresses to connected PCs.  The NAT/NAPT function enables you to share the broadband connection to all networked users (up to 253 users). 

  Firewall security
  The Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) firewall protects your connected PCs from illegal access and several kinds of Denial of Service (DoS) attacks from the Internet and can even alert you by email if an intrusion is detected.

  Virtual Server / DMZ
  The BR-6214K provides virtual server and DMZ functions to let internal servers be accessed by remote users via the Internet.

  DHCP
  The BR-6214K provides a DHCP server function to assign IP address automatically to networked PCs.

  Special Applications
  The BR-6214K provides extra functions to enjoy additional resources on the Internet. The Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) function allows you to enjoy applications like Messenger and games without any hassle. The port forwarding, port triggering and port mapping function allows you to use your VoIP, IPcam, IPTV at home to maximise your Internet connection.

  Web Configuration
  The router can be configured easily through a web browser.
